4.5/5

TopSport

Having launched way back in 1998, TopSport is one of the oldest and most highly regarded online betting sites in Australia. TopSport have earned a loyal following for their admirable stance on the spirit of betting; refraining from banning or restricting highly successful punters as a matter of principles over profit – something we love at Betting Sites Australia!

TopSport offers strong odds & coverage across racing and a serviceable amount of markets across the major sporting codes making them a genuine alternative to the big corporate betting sites.

We highly recommend TopSport to Australian punters of all experience levels and bankrolls.

Realbookie

Realbookie is a 100% Australian owned & operated betting site which was launched in 2020. Offering a comparably basic betting experience, Realbookie will mostly appeal to seasoned horse racing punters. On comparison, Realbookie was found to offer slightly better odds than the large betting agencies on some local racing events, however overall was comparable to the likes of Neds, Ladbrokes & PlayUp.

At the time of review, Realbookie only covers 9 sports with much less depth in terms of in game markets. For example, on AFL matches, Realbookie was found to offer as few as 3 same game markets compared to the 140+ you’d find on the large corporate betting sites.

So if you love your racing and want a straight forward, no nonsense, local Aussie betting site check out Realbookie.

Bet Right

Bet Right are one of the newest betting sites in Australia having only launched in 2021. For such a relatively young site, Bet Right offers a pretty comprehensive range of betting options across racing and sports at competitive odds.

When it comes to in game markets, Bet Right’s offering is impressive, however in same cases only a little over half of what you’ll find on sites like Ladbrokes & Neds.

At the time of writing, same game multi bets were limited to AFL, NRL and NBA games, however Bet Right does offer same race multis which take the guess work out of exotic bet returns.

Our verdict: A solid Australian owned & operated betting site worth signing up with if you like to spread your bets across multi betting agencies.

Our Verdict:

Whilst all three of these betting sites have their strengths – we can’t go past TopSport due to their reputation for welcoming big punters. Unlike some of other betting sites in Australia, TopSport doesn’t ban successful customers – something we really admire.
