Bet Hunter

Bet Hunter has roots firmly entrenched in horse racing, having been accepting bets on NSW horse racing since 1971.
Their betting site features a respectable yet still limited number of in-game markets across sporting events, and their racing odds were found to offer less value than the bigger betting sites available in Australia.
It is by no means terrible, but we’d recommend using other Australian bookmakers.

WinBet

WinBet is the collective effort of three veteran Melbourne on-course bookies, boasting over 100 years of combined experience.
Unfortunately, while their pedigree is impressive, the WinBet betting site blends into the crowd of small Australian betting sites, offering no obvious point of difference to draw punters in.
Racing odds were found to be inferior to those of the leading Australian betting sites, and only fundamental in-game markets are available for sporting events.
A promising betting site, but still has some work to do.

OKEBET

OKEBET continues the trend of on-course bookmakers’ ventures into the online betting world via the BetMakers platform.
OKEBET’s racing odds were found to be competitive when compared to many of the other smaller betting sites Australia offers; however, they can’t compete with the prices offered by big corporates like Neds & Ladbrokes.
When it comes to sports betting markets, OKEBET offers a decent range of sports leagues and slightly more than average in-game markets on AFL and NRL matches.
While there’s nothing inherently exciting about OKEBET, it’s one of the better small betting sites.

Who Wins?
Overall, these three betting sites offer fairly basic online betting experiences. If we had to pick a winner out of the three, we’d probably sign up with OKEBET.
However, unless you have your heart set on supporting small Australian bookmakers, you’ll find multiple better betting sites listed on our homepage.
